Canadian Health magazine and its French counterpart Santé canadienne are distributed quarterly to 35,000 doctor's offices and 11,000 dentist’s offices across Canada. In some cases we distribute more than one copy per location so our total circulation is closer to 66,000 (including our 3000 subscribers). Our circulation number is less important than our significant Readers Per Copy, at 33.7 -- the highest of any Canadian publication. This is due to our public place distribution and the sheer volume of patients visiting their doctors and dentists offices every day. This represents reader growth of 12% over the same period last year, while overall magazine readership is down 2.5% (PMB 2010 Spring).
We claim 1.4 Million English readers (12+). However, the PMB number does not include our 11,000 Dental copies, nor does it include our French circulation of 12,000 copies. The latest PMB topline can be downloaded here.
